Auf geht’s zum zweiten (und letzten) Teil meines Venedig Fototagebuchs! Da ich nicht alle 40 Fotos in einen Eintrag quetschen wollte, habe ich sie in zwei Hälften geteilt und hier seht ihr nun Teil nummero zwei. Die anderen Fotos könnt ihr euch hier nochmal ansehen. Wir waren nicht nur in Venedig selbst, sondern auch in Murano, und haben dort nicht nur die alten Gebäude, sondern auch die Glasskulpturen (die es neben dem ganzen Kitsch-Kram gibt) bewundert.
Here we go! This is the second (and last) part of my Venice travel diary, since I didn’t want to squeeze 40 pictures in one post. So I splitted them into two halfs, and this is the second one. You can have a look at the other photos by clicking here! We did not only visit Venice, but also Murano and enjoyed the architecture and glass sculptures there (besides the kitschy figures). :)

Da ich mich wirklich nicht entscheiden konnte, welche Bilder ich denn nun auf meinem Blog veröffentlichen soll und da Venedig so eine wunderschöne Stadt ist, mit so vielen verschiedenen Gesichtern, bekommt ihr die Bilderflut in insgesamt zwei “Reisetagebüchern” häppchenweise serviert. Da Phil ja schon der Reiseblogger von uns beiden ist, habe ich mich eher für ästhetische, künstlerische oder einfach detailreiche Bilder entschieden, die Venedig mal aus einem vielleicht nicht ganz so üblichen Blickwinkel einfangen. Neben den typischen Touristenorten (Markusplatz, Rialtobrücke) gibt es sehr viel in dieser Stadt zu entdecken und auch wenn meine Füße beim Zurückdenken an viele Schritte durch noch mehr Gassen noch ein wenig schmerzen, war diese Reise jeden Cent wert. Noch dazu, weil wir obendrein so viel Glück mit dem Wetter hatten! So, nun aber genug geredet: Jetzt lasse ich Bilder sprechen.
As I was not able to decide which photos to publish on my blog and Venice being such a wonderful city with many different faces, I will split the whole flood of pictures into two “Travel Diary” posts. Since Phil is the travel blogger of the two of us, I went for more aesthetic, artistical or just more detailed aspects while taking my photos to catch Venice from another not so common point of view. There are many more places to discover existing besides the whole few tourists-flooded spots and even if my feet still hurt a little when thinking back to countless steps in countless alleys: this short trip was worth every cent. Plus, we were so lucky to have nice sunny weather all the time. But now I talked enough and I’m going to show you many pictures now. Enjoy!

Wir genießen immer noch sehr die doch noch recht warme italienische Sonne und lassen uns am liebsten einfach durch die Gassen Venedigs treiben: Dabei entdeckt man oft die schönsten und menschenleersten Orte. Natürlich durften auch die üblichen Sights wie die Rialto Brücke oder der Markusplatz nicht fehlen, aber dazu komme ich dann im nächsten Eintrag.
We still enjoy the quite warm Italian sun and love it just to stroll around Venice’s alleys: That’s the perfect way to discover the nicest and not so crowded places. Of course we also went to the popular sights like the Rialto bridge and the St. Mark’s square, but I’ll say few more words in the next post.
In meinem heutigen Outfit durfte zum ersten Mal meine neue selbstgenähte Felltasche mit: Ich finde, sie ist perfekt für den Herbst und auch die Größe ist ideal. Sogar die Kamera passt noch hinein. Die Outfitbilder an sich haben wir auf dem Markusplatz geschossen, aber ich habe auch noch eine kleine Überraschung dazu parat. Dazu aber auch später mehr :)
In today’s outfit I had for the first time my new selfmade fur bag with me: I think it’s perfect for autumn and I love it’s size: Even my camera fits in there. We took the outfit photos at St. Mark’s square but I also planned a little surprise featuring my new bag – I’ll tell you soon more about it. :)

Venedig ist eine wunderschöne Stadt, sogar noch eindrucksvoller als ich erwartet hatte. Deswegen haben wir unsere Speicherkarten auch schon richtig vollgeknipst. Natürlich hatte ich noch keine Zeit, die ganzen Fotos durchzusehen, und das wird auch erst nach dem Urlaub gemacht – immerhin genießen wir die Zeit zwischen Gondolieren, dem Canal Grande und viel Sonnenschein.
Venice is a wonderful city – even more impressive as I have imagined before. Because of this fact we already took tons of photos and of course I didn’t have the time to browse through all of them and chose some pictures for the blog. And I’ll only do that after our holidays, since we really enjoy our time next to the gondoliers, the Canal Grande and lots of sunshine.
In den kleinen Gässchen, die direkt zum Wasser, also quasi in eine Sackgasse führen, gefiel es mir bisher am Besten: Da sind uns auch (logischerweise) keinerlei Leute entgegengekommen (ich glaube, eine Stadt mit mehr Touristen auf einem Haufen habe ich noch nie erlebt!). Perfekt, um ein kleines Outfitshooting abzuhalten. Auch wenn uns die vorbeifahrenden Gondoliere ganz schön verdutzt angesehen haben ;)
I preferred those little dead end streets that directly lead to the water: No people at all (obviously) crossed our way in these little streets (and I think I haven’t been to any other city with that much tourists at one point!). So one of these places was perfect for a little outfit shooting – even if the passing by gondoliers looked a little confused ;)
