Ach, war dieser Herbstspaziergang herrlich! Wohin man sah, überall bunte Blätter an den Bäumen und auf dem Boden, ein wahres Farbspektakel – ihr seht schon, da wird man doch gleich ein bisschen poetisch. Die letzten schönen Zeiten des Jahres, in denen man sich noch nicht allzu dick einpacken muss um nicht zu frieren, muss man aber doch einfach draußen genießen. Meine selbstgenähte Felltasche hat übrigens noch Zuwachs bekommen: Aus dem gleichen Material habe ich mir noch einen schmalen Fellkragen gebastelt, der schön warm und kuschlig ist.
I enjoyed this little walk yesterday to the fullest! Wherever you looked, everywhere colorful leaves still on the trees or already fallen to the ground, a real eyecandy and color splash… Well, that was maybe a little too poetic, but still: I think you just have to enjoy the last times of this year when you’re able to go outside without a winter jacket. My selfmade fake fur bag somehow got a new friend: I used some left over fabric to create this fur scarf which is really warm and cuddly.

Ein ganzes Reisevideo habe ich auf unserem Venedigurlaub nicht erstellt. Nein, um genau zu sein ist es auch gerade mal 2:22 Minuten lang (eine Schnapszahl! ^^). Diesmal hatte ich nämlich Lust, mich nochmal ein bisschen in Sachen Videoschnitt zu üben und habe aus ein paar Szenen einen kleinen, ja, man könnte sagen, Kurzfilm zusammengeschnitten. Viel möchte ich auch gar nicht dazu sagen, schaut ihn euch einfach an. Ich finde auf jeden Fall, dass er nochmal eine schöne sommerliche Stimmung zaubert – die kann man bei den Temperaturen draußen doch auch gebrauchen, nicht wahr? :)
On our trip to Venice I was not filming a whole travel video. No, and to be honest it’s only about 2:22 minutes: This time I was in the mood to try some things in video editing and so I created a, yes, let’s say, short movie. I don’t want to write too much here – why don’t you just lean back and watch it? Somehow it makes me feel like having summer again a little bit – just what I need with these freezing temperatures outside! ;)
Okay, jetzt wo ihr euch das Filmchen angesehen habt, doch noch zwei, drei Wörtchen, die mir einfallen sind: Die tolle Location mit der schönen Brücke haben wir zufällig gefunden – ein Ort, an dem sehr viele Gondeln herumschippern, aber so gut wie keine Leute herumlaufen. Die zweite Szene entstand etwas außerhalb der Stadt, und zwar am Lido von Venedig. Das Outfit auf dem Video trage ich auch in diesem Post, falls ihr nochmal nachlesen möchtet. So, nun aber genug. Ich hoffe es hat euch gefallen! :)
Well, now after you watched my video there are some words that came up my mind: We found the nice location with the bridge accidentallyby strolling through the city – a place, where many gondolas pass by, but nearly noone walking around. The second scene was filmed a little bit outside the city, at the beach of Venice. I wore this outfit also in this post, in case you want to read something about it. So, I think that’s all – I hope you enjoyed it! ;)
Herbst! Für viele bedeutet das Regen und mit einem warmen Tee auf die Couch mümmeln, aber die schönen Seiten der Vorwinterzeit gefallen mir richtig gut. Die bunten Blätter lenken vom eher grauen Himmel ab, und bei schönem Wetter kann man noch einige warme Sonnenstrahlen genießen, bevor es so richtig kalt wird. Modisch ist der Herbst sogar eine meiner Lieblingszeiten im Jahr.
Das Outfit stammt vom letzten Wochenende, an dem es zwar relativ frisch, aber sonnig war. Perfekt für einen kleinen Stadtbummel. Im Moment stehe ich total auf die simple Kombination von schwarz und weiß, aufgepeppt mit ein paar Accessoires. In diesem Fall habe ich mich für Gold entschieden. Meine perfekte Alternative für den allseits so beliebten Chanel Peridot (dessen Grünstich mir nicht so gut gefällt) stammt von der Marke p2 – ich habe ihn seit Jahren im Schränkchen stehen und jetzt darf er sein Comeback feiern ;). Und was tragt ihr momentan am liebsten?
Autumn! For many this word means just rainy weather and sitting cosy on your couch sipping some warm tee, but I pretty much like the nice sides of this time of the year. Colorful leaves everywhere distract you from the grey sky and if the weather is nice you can still enjoy some warm sunrays before it’s getting really cold outside. Talking about fashion, fall is even one of my favorite seasons.
My outfit is from last weekend when it was quite freezing, but sunny – perfect for a small city walk. At the moment I love the easy combination of black and white, enriched with some accessories. In this case, I went for gold. I also found my perfect alternative to the Chanel Peridot nail laquer (which’s green highlights I disliked) – I bought this golden one by p2 some years ago and now it had it’s comeback! ;) What’s your favorite item at the moment?

Auf geht’s zum zweiten (und letzten) Teil meines Venedig Fototagebuchs! Da ich nicht alle 40 Fotos in einen Eintrag quetschen wollte, habe ich sie in zwei Hälften geteilt und hier seht ihr nun Teil nummero zwei. Die anderen Fotos könnt ihr euch hier nochmal ansehen. Wir waren nicht nur in Venedig selbst, sondern auch in Murano, und haben dort nicht nur die alten Gebäude, sondern auch die Glasskulpturen (die es neben dem ganzen Kitsch-Kram gibt) bewundert.

Da ich mich wirklich nicht entscheiden konnte, welche Bilder ich denn nun auf meinem Blog veröffentlichen soll und da Venedig so eine wunderschöne Stadt ist, mit so vielen verschiedenen Gesichtern, bekommt ihr die Bilderflut in insgesamt zwei “Reisetagebüchern” häppchenweise serviert. Da Phil ja schon der Reiseblogger von uns beiden ist, habe ich mich eher für ästhetische, künstlerische oder einfach detailreiche Bilder entschieden, die Venedig mal aus einem vielleicht nicht ganz so üblichen Blickwinkel einfangen. Neben den typischen Touristenorten (Markusplatz, Rialtobrücke) gibt es sehr viel in dieser Stadt zu entdecken und auch wenn meine Füße beim Zurückdenken an viele Schritte durch noch mehr Gassen noch ein wenig schmerzen, war diese Reise jeden Cent wert. Noch dazu, weil wir obendrein so viel Glück mit dem Wetter hatten! So, nun aber genug geredet: Jetzt lasse ich Bilder sprechen.
As I was not able to decide which photos to publish on my blog and Venice being such a wonderful city with many different faces, I will split the whole flood of pictures into two “Travel Diary” posts. Since Phil is the travel blogger of the two of us, I went for more aesthetic, artistical or just more detailed aspects while taking my photos to catch Venice from another not so common point of view. There are many more places to discover existing besides the whole few tourists-flooded spots and even if my feet still hurt a little when thinking back to countless steps in countless alleys: this short trip was worth every cent. Plus, we were so lucky to have nice sunny weather all the time. But now I talked enough and I’m going to show you many pictures now. Enjoy!
