FV Talk: Video Interview with Asandri @ Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich

Das vergangene Wochenende war wirklich voller Ereignisse: Nach der Hochzeit meines Cousins am Samstag, machten wir uns am Sonntag Vormittag im herrlichsten Sonnenschein auf zum Bayerischen Hof. Der Anlass: Im Showroom im Festsaal stellte neben Marcel Ostertag auch das Schweizer Label Asandri ihre aktuelle Kollektion aus. Die beiden Designer Alexandra Pfister und Stefan Wiedmer haben bereits auf der Fashion Week Berlin ihre Frühjahr/Sommer Kollektion 2012 präsentiert, sowohl auf dem Laufsteg als auch im Hotel Adlon im Showroom. Nun hat sich Alexandra Pfister zu einem kleinen Interview bereit erklärt und mir ein paar Fragen beantwortet.

The last weekend was really exciting: After the wedding from my Cousin on Saturday, on Sunday Morning we went to the hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, while we had the most beautiful summer weather. The occasion: In a showroom in the ballroom next to Marcel Ostertag also the Swiss label Asandri presented again its current collection. The two designers, Alexandra Pfister and Stefan Wiedmer, had already presented their Spring/Summer 2012 clothes during Fashion Week Berlin not only on the runway but also in the showroom at Hotel Adlon. This time Alexandra Pfister agreed to answer me a few questions for a short interview.

Wir haben uns über Mode im Allgemeinen unterhalten, über das Label Asandri an sich und über den Arbeitsprozess, der dahinter steckt, bevor eine komplette Kollektion vorzeigbar ist. Außerdem haben wir ein wenig über Modemetropolen und Fashion Weeks in Deutschland diskutiert. Ich hoffe, das Interview gefällt euch, denn es war mein erstes und ich finde, dafür ist es richtig gut geworden. ;)

We talked about fashion generally, the label Asandri itself and the working process before them being able to present a whole collection and we also discussed a little about fashion cities and Fashion Weeks in Germany. I know that the interview is in German, but I hope you like it though ;) It was my first interview and I think it turned out really good.

Happily ever after ♥

Am Samstag verbrachten wir alle einen wunderschönen Tag: Mein Cousin heiratete seine langjährige Freundin. Sogar das Wetter spielte mit leichten Anlaufschwierigkeiten mit – morgens gab es einen kurzen Schauer, doch pünktlich zum Beginn der Feierlichkeiten bekamen wir das hübsche Brautpaar in strahlendem Sonnenschein und weißblauem Himmel zu Gesicht. Zu diesem Anlass haben wir uns natürlich alle sehr fein gemacht, und eine kleine Preview meines Outfits hatte ich euch ja schon gewährt. Endlich hatte ich einmal die Gelegenheit, mein schönes H&M Maxi Kleid auszuführen, ohne mich overdressed zu fühlen.

Last Saturday we had a wonderful day: My cousin married his long-standing girlfriend. Even the weather was nice – after a little rain shower in the morning, we got to see bridal pair in the most beautiful sunshine and a blue-white sky as soon as the ceremony started. Of course we got dressed up for this occasion and I’ve already shown you a preview of my outfit. Finally I had chance to wear my H&M maxi dress without feeling overdressed.

Gefeiert wurde in der Nähe von München am Starnberger See, wo es eine schöne Hochzeitsfeier mit einem sehr guten Dinner gab. Vor Ort haben wir als Outfitlocation wir eine schnuckelige knarzende alte Schaukel gefunden. Ich trage auf den Bildern ein Kleid von H&M in der Farbe “Rost”, meine geliebte Miu Miu Matelassé Clutch und mein Armreif sowie die Kette sind ebenfalls von H&M. Phil trägt übrigens einen Anzug von Hugo Boss und eine Kravatte von H&M.

We celebrated at the “Starnberger See”, a lake near to Munich, where we had a wonderful wedding celebration with a tasty dinner. Near this location we found a perfect place to do an outfit shoot: A cute creaking old swing. In these pictures I wear my H&M maxi dress, a Miu Miu Matelassé clutch and a bracelet and necklace from H&M as well. By the way, Phil wears a Hugo Boss suit and a H&M tie.

Preview: Beginning of an amazing weekend

Ratet mal, auf welches tolle Event ich heute mit diesem Outfit gehen werde! :) Morgen werde ich dann unzählige Fotos hochladen. Dummerweise hat das Wetter beschlossen, sich von seiner hässlichsten Seite zu zeigen, aber ich hoffe dass wir trotzdem einen riesen Spaß haben werden. Für euch gibt’s jetzt zwei Instagram-Fotos, der Rest folgt morgen!

Guess which exciting event I will attend today with this outfit! :) Tomorrow I’ll show you many photos. Unfortunately the weather decided to be as ugly as possible but I hope we’ll have much fun though! For now I’ll leave you with two instagram pictures, more to come tomorrow!

PS: Endlich habe ich einen H&M Store gefunden, in dem dieser coole Armreif nicht ausverkauft war – sogar online wäre er erst für Ende August lieferbar gewesen. Auch wenn Armreif und Kette im Moment durch alle möglichen Blogs geistern, konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Die Kette hat mir mein lieber Phil außerdem aus Prag mitgebracht.

PS: Finally I found an H&M store where this cool bracelet wasn’t sold out. Even online I would have been only able to get it by the end of August. And I know, it seems that every blogger has this necklace and bracelet at the moment, but I can’t resist either. The cute necklace was a gift from my dear Phil he brought me from his trip to Prague.

MBFWS: Filippa K. S/S ’12 Fashion Week Stockholm

Direkt nach Kopenhagen ist der gesamte Modezirkus zur Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Stockholm umgezogen, wo momentan noch die Präsentationen für Spring/Summer 2012 stattfinden. Da ich schon desöfteren über Filippa K berichtet habe (zum Beispiel über die Show A/W 2011 und den Showroom in München), interessiert es vielleicht einige von euch, wie die neue Kollektion aussieht. Ich persönlich mag die Kleidung des schwedischen Labels sehr, deshalb habe ich mich auch dazu entschieden, über die gestrige Show zu schreiben, auch wenn ich selbst nicht anwesend war.

Directly after Copenhagen the whole fashion circus moved to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Stockholm, where at the moment the presentations for spring/summer 2011 are taking part. As I have written some articles about Filippa K in the past (e.g. about the last A/W 2011 show and the showroom in Munich), I thought it could be interesting for you to see the new collection. Personally, I like the designs of the swedish label, so I decided to show you some pictures of the current show even if I did not attended yesterday’s show by myself.

Farblich sind mir sofort das wunderschön leuchtende Blau und ein knalliges Rot ins Auge gestochen, ansonsten setzt Filippa K auf weiß, beige und grau. Interessant fand ich auch die grau-glitzernde Bluse. Sehr tragbare Muster und Farben, flatternde Stoffe, figurschmeichelnde Schnitte – was wünscht sich Frau mehr im Sommer? Im Grunde könnte man beinahe schon von “langweilig” sprechen, aber nur beinah. Ich würde fast alles tragen, und irgendwie passt diese Kollektion prima zu meinem momentanen Minimalismus-Schlichtheits-Stil. Meine Favoriten von der Show in Stockholm habe ich in diesem Artikel mal für euch zusammengestellt. Wie gefällt euch die Frühjahr/Sommer Kollektion für 2012?

The first thing that catched my eyes were the colors: This wonderful bright blue and the gaudy red are the main colors in this collection, apart from that Filippa K used white, beige and grey shades. A grey-silvery-shiny blouse also drew my interest. Very wearable patterns and colors, flowing fabrics, shape flattering – what more could a woman ask to wear in summer? Actually you can almost call this collection “boring”, but as I said, almost. I would wear nearly everything and somehow these clothes perfectly fit to my currently minimialism-simple-style. I assembled my favorites of the fashion show in Stockholm in this article.

Travel: Venice in October: Booked!

Auch wenn es bis dahin noch ein Weilchen hin ist, ich freue mich jetzt schon riesig: Mitte Oktober werden Phil und ich ein verlängertes Wochenende in Venedig verbringen. Tatsächlich war ich schon gefühlte 100 Male in Italien, aber noch kein einziges Mal hat es mich nach Venedig verschlagen, deshalb bin ich schon sehr gespannt und hoffe trotz Herbst auf schönes Wetter.

Even if it takes a while until October, I’m really looking forward to it by now: Phil and I will travel to Venice for a long weekend in the middle of October. Actually I’ve been in Italia about a hundred times but not a single day in Venice, so I just can’t wait to explore this wonderful city. I hope we’ll have a good weather despite we will travel during autumn.

Aber unter uns, ich glaube nicht, dass ich es noch so lange aushalte mit dem Wegfahren – ich hoffe, da ergibt sich in den nächsten Wochen noch etwas spontanes! :) Nur noch gut eine Woche, bis ich endlich mit meinen Prüfungen durch bin.

But honestly, just between us: I don’t think I can’t wait to make holidays that long, so maybe I’ll be away for a few days in the next weeks spontaneously? :) Just about one more week and I’ll be finally done with my exams.
